The popular television series “Mad Men” is the chosen theme for Renee and Dave’s foray into making Canapes for the Art of Elegance Fair at Maryborough Town Hall. Renee DeRobertis and Dave Mitchell have been catering to gourmet tastes on their beautiful vineyard acreage at Amherst (via Talbot), Victoria called “Romantic Vineyard” for many years. Renee has been both Chef and run restaurants in the USA and South America, and just loves good food, and Dave is a distinguished wildlife scientist who loves good wine, so between the two of them they are going to create a special 1950’s/1960’s spread. There will be wine from their vineyard, sparkling and still, and a lovely non-alcoholic pink fizz served in a champagne glass. A menu will be added shortly, with some delicious options to choose from, including old favourites on “Jatz” crackers. Stay tuned for more updates on Romantic Vineyard’s trading space.
