Treasures & Tea Time – Corridor Gallery – Talbot, Victoria

Posted on April 26, 2012

Rose Hardress of Corridor Gallery in Talbot has found a treasure haul of fabulous vintage  jewellery, including charms, brooches, cuffs, rings, necklaces, earrings and much more,  fit for a Queen.   She returns with a stunning array of sparkling costume pieces that will feature at her themed trading space, part of the collection of a mysterious “Lady” who cannot be named, but who lived a luxurious and exciting lifestyle.  Add to that Rose’s own handmade reclaimed wool tea cosies that make an artistic statement, and you’ve got the makings of a glamorous afternoon tea.  Set a wild tea party theme, plan a menu, and get the girls around to dress up.  Rummage and pick through Corridor Gallery’s hoard of rediscovered exotic treasures at the Art of Elegance Fair in the Main Hall.  This is definitely the return of taking tea in style and elegance!  There will also be select pieces of unusual ephemera to collect, which were so popular in the Summer.  See you at the Fair…
