Warming Winter Menu and Buffet High Tea – Romantic Vineyard, Amherst

Posted on July 24, 2012

Looks like a great warming Winter menu from Romantic Vineyard, available throughout the Fair, in the foyer area at the Maryborough Anglican Hall.  There will be a beverage buffet, which includes Romantic Vineyard wines, White: French Style Chardonnay and Sparkling, Red: Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc, varieties of loose leaf tea in vintage tea pots (supplied by Amaroo Antiques) with accompaniments, and Coffee Basics coffee.  There will also be some herbal tea options available, by Bliss Blend, Talbot.

The Highland Lamb Stew, New England Clam Chowder and French Onion soup will be accompanied by home baked toasted breads, with assorted fillings, such as kalamata olive, gorgonzola cheese, and roasted capsicum.   This fabulous fare will be served from the Fair Kitchen and Buffet to your choice, and there is seating available on a continual basis, so no need to make a timed booking.

Lizzie’s Larder will serve the cake buffet for High Tea choices, and has some alternative dietary options also.   Liz Tovey will have some surprises, as well as traditional old favourites such as cream filled lamingtons, melting moments, and various jam and cream filled scones.   She has been making cakes and slices for many years and has gained a strong reputation for quality, variety and taste!

Even though it’s been the coldest Winter ever, it will be a warming Winter inside the Fair.  Contact Renee, Dave or Lizzie for any enquiries on the details below, and we’ll see you there!
