Way back when, country towns used to wait for the trunk sellers to come from Melbourne and other major towns to show their wares.  Jazz in July 2013 will host a mini trunk show in Charlton’s stylish Rex Theatre foyer, with select vintage traders like Rose Hardress from Corridor Art Gallery (Talbot, Victoria) on board for the fun.  Those who have seen her unique trading spaces at the various Art of Elegance Fair days will know of her work.  The tea cosy is as much at home on the kitchen table as it is as a work of art, because of her original designs and hand-made flair.   These are even making their way interstate and to the UK where her artistry is being noticed.  Wherever possible upcycled materials are used and the result is gorgeous.  Her take on the ever popular cup cake is inspired, styled as a pin cushion for a guilt free treat with a cherry on top!   The range of specialist vintage jewellery and trinkets is heaven to sift through, like a treasure trove, a must for any collector and wearer.   Visit her trading space Saturday 20th July from 10 am all day in The Rex Theatre foyer, in between, before or after the shows — and be part of the weekend of fun in Charlton!  See the details below for the weekend programme and entertainment booking information.
